Dear Little One

 

How far Long?: 18 Weeks
Total Weight Gained: 5-6 lb
Maternity Clothes: Pants for sure, and some shirts
Stretch Marks: Not that I can see

Sleep: Has been great if I get to be around 10 pm every night. I have a nap pretty much every day as well
Best Moment This week: Finding out my little girl was on her way
Miss Anything?: Sleeping on my tummy with my hands around an ice cold pillow

Movement: Feeling definite somersaults, squirms and stretches. The ultrasound tech said it will take a while to feel you all the time. You have to kick through the placenta because its in the front, the uterus then my tummy. When I lay flat on my back you is when I can really feel you kicking and squirming. Sometimes it really tickles!
Food Cravings: Bacon, Orange Juice, Strawberries, Jamba Juice, sweet tarts
Anything make you queasy or sick?:Just when I don't eat and I'm pretty hungry or anything that smells bad.
Gender: GIRL!!!!!!!!

Labor Signs: nope

Symptoms: Still having kidney pains. Starting to get hard to breathe when my tummy is full. My belly is really starting to get big!

Belly Button In or Out?: In, but I can make it poke out.
Wedding Ring On or Off: On

What has your mood been like?: Pretty Happy, I have had a few crying upset days, but for the most part I'm way excited and soooooooooo happy!

Looking Forward too: Decorating the Nursery. Continued kicks and squirms. Shopping for fabric with Grandma.
Family Life: Hayden is 21 months. He is really starting to talk and to Jabber. Daddy is busy with work and school. We are trying to find a job for the summer. We just got to see Chris and Steph this last weekend. Next weekend we get to see Jason Leaan and kids, Grandma and Grandpa Garner, Grandma and Grandpa Gardner for Charlie's Baptism. Going to St. George with little Hayden for 2 weeks!

The Big Ultrasound

 Your little body. My favorite part about little babies, You have skinny legs and a bloated belly. You look like a little frog! I love it!

  You are definitely a little Girl. The Kidney ultrasound was a maybe, but we couldn't tell for sure cause you had your legs closes tight. This time you cooperated and gave us a few good shots!

This is a diaper changing shot. The little mouse is pointing to a baby Girl!!!

Your sweet profile. You were squirming a little bit. You are not a fan of being poked and prodded and you are not afraid to show it. For the most part you were just there fast asleep.

Daddy and I couldn't stop staring at our precious baby. We are so happy you are coming to us. We love you so much already. We would do anything for our sweet precious little children.

Dear Little One,

Needless, to say... WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED! I am thee Luckiest Mama in the entire world! I get an adorble handsome little boy, and a beautiful little girl to hold and give all my love too. I am glad my dreams are still holding strong. This just makes things seem that much more real, and I just want you ready to come already! Alas! I have so much to do before that time, and you do too. So until then. I will just hold my belly and imagine the day you and I get to be together face to face.

Dear Little One

Today is the Big day!!! I am soooooooooooooooo EXCITED!!!!!!!! I had trouble sleeping last night cause I was so excited! I kept dreaming about the ultrasound. Then waking up hoping it was real! We shall is if you are a boy or girl! I still think you are a girl, but if I am wrong I will gladly admit it! I will love you, snuggle you, and kiss you all over!

Dear Little One

Week 17!

Today I am in dire need to hold you. I had thee most vivid dream about you. It was one of those dreams that kept going, even if I woke up then fell back to sleep. In the Dream I was in labor with you. I had you. Then I took you home and snuggled you, fed you, rocked you, and showed you off to my family. In the dream you were also a girl. Thee most precious and sweet little girl I have ever seen. Just writing this down makes me recount my dream. I vividly remember them placing you in my arms. Love at first site. You and me.

 I can't even begin to express my feelings of love for you already. Especially after I have dreams like that. It makes my heart ache and long to hold you. Even if you are a boy I am still just as excited and anxious to have my two precious babes in my arms, You and Hayden. I am one very lucky and blessed mama.

In other news. I had my kidney Ultrasound done on Tuesday. It went very well, and I am glad that they actually found something. It makes me feel like I am not crazy after all. In my Left Kidney they Found a couple of Kidney stones. In my right kidney they found cysts, stones and Hydronephrosis. I actually had the Hydronephrosis with your brother as well. We will visit the doctor next week and go from there.

One of the exciting things from this ultrasound though was seeing you of course! I had a student in training doing the ultrasound and then a supervisor watching his ever move. They were both curious when I told them I didn't know the gender yet. So they casually moved the probe up to where you were. We saw a direct butt shot, but you were being quite modest and keeping your legs closed as tight as possible. Want to know why I you were a girl in my dream? Well, besides that fact that I have pretty much thought you a girl from the get go, apart from a few weeks of confusion. The ultrasound techs both thought you were a girl! We didn't see anything sticking out (if ya know what i mean). They also said they weren't very good at it, and that it was just a guess. I saw it too. Hayden was also a girl at first too so we will see. We find out in 6 days! I can't wait! Excitement is an understatement.

Other than the kidney problems things seem to being going just fine. I am really starting to feel you kick and squirm. I feel like I have popcorn popping in my abdomen. I can't wait to be able to see you move from the outside!

Life is just wonderful. I can't even begin to explain how grateful and how much love I have for you Daddy, Hayden and you. I am thee luckiest girl in the world!!!

Dear Little One

How far Long?: 16 weeks
Total Weight Gained: 6lb but then  I lost 2 this week. 4lb weight gain
Maternity Clothes: Quite a bit loose and still big on me. Definitely wearing them though.
Stretch Marks: None yet
Sleep: Sleep has been very frequent and very good!
Best Moment This week: Finding out you were okay! When you kicked the doctor.
Miss Anything?: I miss not being sick, and my body not hurting
Movement: I felt lots of movement this week! Daddy felt you too!!!
Food Cravings: Cafe Rio, Nachos, Salad, Powerade, SweetTarts
Anything make you queasy or sick?: I have been queasy and sick a lot, but we are still trying to figure out why?!
Gender: ???Two more weeks! We made the appointment!
Labor Signs: Yes! Way scary! You aren't supposed to come for 24 more weeks! Stay in there!
Symptoms: Severe Cramping, Nausea, Headaches, Kidneys hurt, some contractions too

Wedding Ring On or Off: Still on and still loose
What has your mood been like?: Very very emotional. I have cried. I have worried. I have been upset. I have been excited. I have been happy.
Looking Forward too: Kidney Ultrasound this week! Lets find out what is wrong!!!

As you can tell this has been a very tough week on our family. I started getting bad cramping and some contractions on Monday Night. I went bed thinking laying down would make it go away. It did.

The Next day. Tuesday. I woke up and the moment I started moving around the cramping came back. I wanted to cry I was in so much pain. I went to the doctor and the only thing they found was some blood in my urine. They told me to go home and to take it easy, and come back if things got worse. I noticed as the day went on that my kidney was starting to really really hurt. I just kept it easy and basically Laid down all day long. I also cried to your daddy and worried to you daddy. I didn't want anything to be wrong, and even more so I don't want to lose you!

Wednesday I was treated with some antibiotics, but we are still unsure what is going on.

Thursday saw the doctor again, and he decided to check my kidneys and things via ultrasound at the hospital. We are going to that on Tuesday. I really hope they can find out what the problem is. I really liked not being in pain and having an easy pregnancy.

One fun thing though. On Thursday will visiting the doctor we were listening to your little heart beat. While he was doing that and feeling around you kicked him! He was shocked and said."I just got kicked." This one might be a feisty little one. Maybe you will take after you Mama! It just made me giggle. Now daddy and The doctor have felt those little kicks. One thing is for sure. You really don't like to be poked or prodded.

Dear Little One

I have officially decided you don't know if you are ready to pop out of my stomach yet or not... Meaning I don't know if you are ready to have me show. Some mornings you are just out there, and there is no questioning if I look pregnant or just fat. Then there are days where I just look like I am a chubby mama who stays home and eats chocolate all day.

This week so far seems to have gone the slowest. I think it has been a combination of being sleepy, not feeling well, and really thinking about how fast this pregnancy has been going. Of course once I think like that it starts to go slowly!!!

Lately this week I have almost started to stress the nursery and such just because I want to get started cause Its going to have to be a slow process of when we have money or not to get things done. I have decided though to wait till I know what you are.  Next month we will for sure find out!!

I am getting confused as to what you are. Maybe I said this, but I am. I have had 2 dreams that you are a boy and a bunch that you are a girl! Who knows!! I want to know though!!!!!

How far along? 15 Weeks

Total weight gain: 3-4 pounds
Maternity clothes? Maternity pants. My other pants look terrible on me. Some maternity shirts. Depending on if you are showing that day or not.
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: Pretty good most days. Its starting to get a little more difficult to sleep on my tummy. I try not to but in the middle of the night I can't control it.
Best moment this week: Satisfying my Cafe Rio craving!
Miss Anything? Losing weight honestly. Its really hard to see numbers climb again!
Movement: Very iffy. I feel like sometimes I feel you, but not sure if its muscle twitches at times.
Food cravings: Nachos, Cafe Rio and Runts extremely healthy!
Anything making you queasy or sick: If I don't eat right when I am hungry then I get sick and way tired!
Gender: ?
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Feeling Exhausted this week.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody some days and happy for the most part. Depended on how tired I was that day.
